Spotted this little beauty! here - Started life as a 790 Bonne

I bet his red paint stuck unlike the shit done by Airyarts Wimborne

I came across your site not to long ago, and I love it. It's nice to come across a site dedicated to Triumphs!
Here are some pics of my 2010 Triumph Thruxton, I bought it new in late 2010 and used it to drive around to some of the local military bases (I'm an expat btw). This was my first taste of touring on a bike, which I've found that I love! (IMAG0301) So while I was touring around the panhandle of Florida I added a set of old ammo cans to store my belongings. After touring the bases I decided I wanted a more minimalistic look so I stripped everything off that I didn't need or want and I chopped the exhaust down and added some biltwell tips. (IMAG0080) Last fall semester I started my degree in ministry, I had to trek 100 miles a day back and forth to school rain or shine for over 4 months, so I had to put everything back on plus add a rear trunk case made from an old NVG storage case and a universal windshield. (IMAG0098, IMAG0837) In just over 3 months I had put 3,000 miles on my triumph, more than I have put on it since I bought it. Once I finished that semester I had taken a semester off and I was done with riding for awhile. If you don't have to ride it's great, but when you have to ride and you're on a time crunch most it sucks! Now however I've moved closer to school (within walking distance) and I have sold everything off the bike that I don't want and I have my heart set on a total remake. I love the Britbob and the TpR bikes and those are the ones I'm basing my vision on for this bike. Currently it's sitting in my new office in my house (IMAG1235) where it will be worked on. Hopefully in the future I can show you the completed bike as I work on it in between class times.
Thanks for your time!

Translated from the old Italano.....Especially for our spectacle built by Jens Brauck and the Triumph tuner LSL with the generous support of Peter Wim / Ohlins for the Rumbler Tridays mastermind Uli Brée. As a starting point served a standard TRIUMPH Scrambler, the number of JvB-engine-parts is a distinctive look to give: From the lamp panel on the front fenders, side covers, the seat and the rear fenders create the selected components, a new design that is not a poor imitation of the motorcycles from the 60s goes. Jens from Brauck developed, they remain the classic Triumph design with modern technology and contemporary style elements. To have the technical modifications, Jochen Schmitz Linkweiler care of LSL. With the aid of noble Öhlins spring elements, lightweight aluminum wheels and Pirelli rough knobby tires 110/80-19 and 140/80-18 in the dimensions of the Rumbler is significantly higher. Specially made for Triumph twin-cylinder upside-down fork with a little less offset bridges provide for the appropriate follow a Magura Supermoto brake system with 4-piston radial caliper and radial master cylinder completes the sporty ambience. Using a hand-arm ergonomics affordable roadster will be adjusted. The beauty of this unique piece, which must remain in step with demand none: All design and engineering components are available separately, so that everyone can have their own very special Triumph Rumbler on its wheels.
The bike will be marketed by www.triumphcatalina.com (not working yet, so stay tuned) with a website currently in work. The intent being to build a more lightweight, correctly styled Scrambler reminiscent of the 60’s Triumph desert sleds. Most offerings thus far have been kinda fat looking based on the stock Scrambler which is kinda fat looking. The originals were very thin and light appearing so that’s the goal here.Looks good to me!... though those drum brakes raise an eyebrow!
What was changed? Wheels have drum brakes, BMW front and XS650 rear with Sun rims, (custom made) aluminum tank, seat, fenders, rear frame section was modified, stainless pipes, K&N filters which will actually be increased in size, CZ handlebars, YZ490 Yamaha controls, small electronic speedo unit, tail light, tubular side stand as opposed to the 12lb solid steel stock unit, Racetech shocks, upgraded ignition unit and aluminum skid-plate.

We don't really celebrate our national day here in England, seems it's not very PC. We would rather celebrate St Patricks day, put on a silly green hat and get very drunk!. Our national flag now seems to represent football, and right wing nationalist.... I hate both!April 23rd St George's Day
